DanChurchAid (DCA) supports people in the world's poorest countries in their struggle for a dignified life and helps those whose lives are in danger. Since 2015, DCA has been working in Syria through an integrated, multi-sectoral approach that aims to save lives and build resilient communities in rural areas, urban settings, and informal settlements.

DCA implements activities that include: rehabilitation of private houses, school rehabilitation, distribution of non-food items (NFIs), cash-for-work activities, protection services (psychosocial support, child protection, general/community protection including case management, cash for protection, awareness and prevention, and community protection networks), multi-purpose cash assistance, vocational training and technical education (TVET), and humanitarian mine action (risk education, survey, and clearance).

DCA combines mine action with humanitarian response to support vulnerable communities through a holistic, integrated, and adaptable approach to achieve the greatest possible impact.

- Positional Objectives

The Community Liaison Team Member is responsible for implementing Explosive Ordinance Risk Education (EORE) and conducting Non-Technical Survey (NTS) activities within affected communities. The role supports the identification of hazardous areas and promotes safe behavior through direct engagement with community members.

- Key Responsibilities                                                                                                                                

• Conduct Explosive Ordinance Risk Education (EORE) sessions in communities to raise awareness about the dangers of mines and explosive remnants of war (ERW).
• Participate in Non-Technical Survey (NTS) activities to collect and document community information regarding suspected hazardous areas.
• Engage with community leaders and members to build trust and facilitate the exchange of safety-related information.
• Support the planning and execution of field visits and community meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of EORE and NTS activities using approved forms and tools.
• Report findings and observations to the Team Leader and contribute to the preparation of activity reports.
• Follow safety and security protocols during field operations.
• Assist in identifying vulnerable groups and tailoring EORE messages to their needs.
• Maintain respectful and professional conduct while representing the organization in the field.

-  Job Requirements                                                                                                                                

• Previous experience in community engagement or humanitarian fieldwork is preferred.
• A University Degree is preferred
• Basic understanding of Explosive Ordinance Risk Education (EORE) and Non-Technical Survey concepts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under field conditions.
• Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with the cultural context.
• Commitment to humanitarian principles and safety standards.

تنفّذ دي سي اي أنشطة تشمل: ترميم المنازل الخاصة، إعادة تأهيل المدارس، توزيع المواد غير الغذائية و أنشطة النقد مقابل العمل، خدمات الحماية (الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي، حماية الطفل، الحماية العامة/المجتمعية بما في ذلك إدارة الحالات، النقد للحماية، التوعية والوقاية، وشبكات الحماية المجتمعية)، المساعدات النقدية متعددة الأغراض، التدريب المهني والتعليم التقني ، ونزع الألغام الإنساني (التوعية بالمخاطر، المسح، والإزالة).

الهدف من الوظيفة -

عضو فريق التواصل المجتمعي مسؤول عن تنفيذ جلسات التوعية بمخاطر الذخائر المتفجرة  والمشاركة في أنشطة المسح غير التقني ضمن المجتمعات المتضررة. يساهم هذا الدور في تحديد المناطق الخطرة وتعزيز السلوك الآمن من خلال التفاعل المباشر مع أفراد المجتمع.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية -

تنفيذ جلسات توعية بمخاطر الذخائر المتفجرة لرفع الوعي حول مخاطر الألغام ومخلفات الحرب المتفجرة   

المشاركة في أنشطة المسح غير التقني  لجمع وتوثيق المعلومات المجتمعية حول المناطق المشتبه بكونها خطرة.

التفاعل مع قادة وأفراد المجتمع لبناء الثقة وتسهيل تبادل المعلومات المتعلقة بالسلامة.

دعم التخطيط وتنفيذ الزيارات الميدانية والاجتماعات المجتمعية.

ضمان التوثيق الدقيق وفي الوقت المناسب لأنشطة التوعية والمسح باستخدام النماذج والأدوات المعتمدة.

رفع النتائج والملاحظات إلى قائد الفريق والمساهمة في إعداد تقارير الأنشطة.

الالتزام ببروتوكولات السلامة والأمن أثناء العمليات الميدانية.

المساعدة في تحديد الفئات الضعيفة وتكييف رسائل التوعية بمخاطر الذخائر لتناسب احتياجاتهم.

الحفاظ على سلوك محترم ومهني أثناء تمثيل المنظمة في الميدان.

متطلبات الوظيفة -

يُفضّل وجود خبرة سابقة في العمل المجتمعي أو الإنساني.

يُفضّل الحصول على شهادة جامعية.
