In HR we support DCA Headquarters as well as our 17 country offices in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. As our new DIB Consultant, you will become a part of a dynamic team consisting of 8 employees, 2 student assistants and our Head of HR & Diversity. Our nice and spacious office is close to both the metro and the S-trains right next to Vesterport station. Our tasks span from recruitment to organisational development processes and we have a good social environment and an informal tone of voice between colleagues. DCA wants to develop and strengthen a common GLOBAL understanding and awareness of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging and support a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, supporting creativity and innovation. Therefore, we are looking for a project consultant to steer us through the next phase of our DIB agenda.
Key responsibilities of the DIB consultant:
- Lead the development and scoping of relevant project design
- Scope DIB council mandate and the process setting up the council
- Secure continuous progress information to board of directors
- Collect and analyse data and advise on how to proceed both globally and locally
- Design and roll-out of continuous DIB follow-up initiatives
- Write and communicate policies for Global DIB
- Coordinate and support the competence development of DCA managers in the DIB agenda in cooperation with HR colleagues
Minimum Qualifications
- A demonstrated thorough understanding of the DIB agenda
- Experience managing global projects in complex international environments, hence experience from another NGO or the UN humanitarian system is an advantage.
- Experience in all phases of project cycle management.
- Cultural sensitivity
- Strong in building relations across the organisation
- Strong analytical skills to effectively identify issues and be able to apply sound conclusions resulting in effective solutions
- Solid Change Management and communication skills
- A demonstrated, general good understanding of working with digital focus groups, employee engagement surveys and possibly HR analysis.
- Prior experience with working with board of directors and project councils
- Fluency in oral and written English.
- Above all, you are a strong team player and an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing.
We offer:
